Tanglewood introduces the Crossroads series, a set of guitars completely based on that amazing raw blues sound from the 30s. In those days guitars werent made to look fancy, so no nice finnishes and no inlays. They had to be reliable and functional. The quality of those guitars were far superior compared to a lot of modern day standards and were passed on through generations.
To achieve the same level of quality the people of Tanglewood asked masterluthier Michael Sanden for help, the man behind Tanglewood Masterdesign. Michael selects all of his woods carefully and knows exactly which woodcombinations are needed to give the right results. He wanted to build a guitar that every musician, be it professional or amateur, could appreciate.
