WHY PAY ANY OTHER WAY?
Made for podcasting, streaming, and gaming, the Focusrite Vocaster Broadcast Kit pairs a Vocaster DM14v XLR microphone with a set of comfortable HP60v headphones to bring studio-quality sound to your show. The XLR microphone is tuned for capturing a rich voice tone that connects with your audience. It features a dynamic capsule and a cardioid pickup pattern designed to give you more of your voice and less of your room noise.
The built-in windshield reduces plosives known as “pops” and the internal shockmount ensures rumble-free recording. A yoke mount allows for precise positioning of the mic when mounted on a boom arm. The Vocaster DM14v comes with an XLR cable for connecting to an audio interface or mixer. Conveniently, the dynamic capsule doesn’t require a battery or phantom power.
- The DM14v offers a voice-centered 50 Hz to 16 kHz frequency response, shaving off extreme high frequencies and effectively mitigating unnecessary lows that can muddy up the sound.
- The DM14v is an excellent fit for recording in untreated home and project studios without a lot of isolation because the less-sensitive dynamic capsule picks up fewer unwanted sounds and room reflections from further away, and more of the person speaking closely into the mic.
- Conveniently, the dynamic capsule doesn’t require a battery or phantom power.
- In addition, the cardioid polar pattern focuses audio capture in the area in front of the capsule, picking up less sound from the rear and sides.
- The HP60v closed-back studio headphones lets you hear your show as the world will. The closed-back design stops the mic from picking up your show mix and cuts unwanted distracting noise.
- Plush pads keep you comfortable even when recording long sessions.
