It is actually as loud as I thought it would be. Cheery on top is the rechargeable battery. Once it is fully charged, it works perfectly. I use it for open air preaching

The megaphone is really great, I love the sound quality with crisp clarity. However, for the microphone to be clear and loud enough you have to almost put it inside your mouth. Overall, great product though.
